Teacher Assistants Wanted

Is seeking 4 teacher's assistants. Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $24.00 / hour. Full time: 40 hours per week.

Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
At least 1 month experience
Criminal record check
Child abuse registry check
Must be able to:
Help students individually or in small groups with assignments and reinforce learning and retention concepts under the supervision of classroom teacher
Monitor students during recess and lunch hour
Assist students with integration into the classroom and school
Assist with classroom inventory
Accompany and supervise students during activities in school gymnasiums, laboratories, libraries, resource centres and on field trips
Monitor and report student progress to classroom teacher
Students, youth, veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, Indigenous Canadians, newcomers to Canada, seniors and apprentices are all welcome and encouraged to apply if qualified. Selection will be based on merit alone.
