Job Duties:
• Understand and follow building plans and blueprints to layout the plumbing system.
• Install pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Make proper markings for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floor.
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform inspections of installed plumbing and drainage systems.
• Measure and cut pipes using hand and power tools.
• Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates for the employer.
• Keep accurate records of the description of work performed and materials used.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of High School would be an asset. You are welcome to apply with no formal education.
• 6+ months of experience in the field would be preferred.
