Alma Bridal is seeking Alterations - Dressmaker to conduct all duties of this position. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team.

Shift: 35 Hours /Week
Hourly rate: $ 26.50 CAD
Main Duties:
• Perform basic alterations on garments to fit individuals customers,
• Do minor repairs to garments by replacing buttons, mending seams, and replacing them,
• Give advice regarding the fit and care of garments to customers,
• Trim excess material, using scissors, ripper, or razor blade,
• May fit garments on the customer to determine required alterations,
• Mark, cut, and sew fabric,
• Be knowledgeable of styles, fits, and fabrics to better serve the customer,
• Inform team leader/ manager of supply needs that arise in daily operations,
• Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications & skills:
• Completion of secondary education is required,
• 1-2 years of related work experience,
• Professionalism is a good asset,
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
