We are growing and looking to add a warehouse distribution supervisor to our team.The major responsibility of warehouse distribution supervisor is to identify process improvement, increase efficiency and productivity to achieve budget targets and operational metrics.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Promote a culture of safety at every opportunity with employees. Ensure safety procedures are being followed strictly and that work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Supervise the daily workflow in the areas of order picking, receiving and truck loading.
3. Maintain/exceed performance metrics (KPI: productivity, quality, inventory level, service level etc.) for assigned area(s).
4. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with governmental regulations.
5. Train new employees and provide ongoing training of existing employees to ensure quality and productivity goals are met or exceeded including regular team meetings with employees.
6. Ensure all policies and procedures are met.
7. Identify, through a proactive approach, potential cost-saving and efficiency gain opportunities to improve overall site operating metrics.
8. Communicate with team members regarding operational issues providing effective feedback.
9. Liaise with all internal depts. as required.
10. Identify process improvements, increase efficiency and productivity to achieve budget targets and operational metrics.
11. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective internal and external customer service.
12. Ensure standard productivity and error standards are consistently met.
13. Assess manpower requirements necessary to maintain established service levels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION- College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE- Experience an asset
