Majha Gill Transport Ltd.. is looking for 2 Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our team immediately.
Job Duties:
•Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of brakes, tires, lights and turning signals.
•Drive tractor-trailor, long-combination vehicle and trucks weighing 4500 kgs to transport goods.
•Perform roadside repairs in case of emergency.
•Transport hazardous products or dangerous goods.
•Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers.
•Keep record of hours of operation, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
•Obtain permits needed to transport cargo on international routes.
Job Requirement:
•Completion of Secondary School.
•Class 1 or A license is required.
•Some experience as a truck driver is an asset
•On the job training is provided
Salary:
•$28.50/hour for 40 hours per week, overtime wage will be given after 60 hours per week.
•Full-time, Permanent Position
