Our company is seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Vernon, BC. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency, effective communication skills and robust problem-solving abilities to excel in their role. They will also exhibit exceptional technological product knowledge, adept relationship-building skills, and the ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of technical product or service details, facilitating the effective communication of product features to clients.
- Address and resolve clients’ technical inquiries and concerns regarding the company’s goods and services.
- Design sales presentations and proposals as required to showcase the company’s products and services.
- Create, implement, and generate reports on sales strategies.
- Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain clients' database
- Diagnose and resolve technical equipment problems, providing effective solutions.
- Maintain communication and cultivate strong relationships with clients.
- Provide training to clients and staff on product operation and maintenance.
Job requirements:
- Completion of post-secondary education is required.
- 3 years of experience in technical sales or in a technical occupation related to the product and/or service.
- Extensive knowledge of sales and technology.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects, multitasks, and effectively manage time while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
