Job Duties:
• Assessing current workforce need and identifying future staffing requirement.
• Take proactive steps to post ads to counter short staffing.
• Effectively screening the job applications to identify the most suitable candidates for the respective positions.
• Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employee
• Informing candidates about the outcome of the selection process and providing feedback to the non-selected candidates.
• Discuss employment details and prepare Job Offers for the selected candidates.
• Developing programs that enhance employee relations.
• Assess and determine the eligibility and entitlement of employees for various benefits as per the Employment Act.
• Ensuring employees receive correct pay and all benefits they are entitled to.
• Offer counselling to the employees related to their personal or work-related challenges to support and ensure employees’ well-being and productivity.
• Ensuring that company employment policies follow provincial laws and regulations.
• Advising top management on matters related to salaries, benefits, and employment law.
• Ensuring that all employee information is recorded and kept confidential.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school.
• Completing a college diploma in business administration or a related field would be an asset.
• Any experience in the field would be preferred.
