Our company is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team and provide essential care and emergency assistance to seniors in our community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other related tasks
- Give medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds when requested
- Perform health-related duties when necessary, such as measuring blood pressure, changing non-sterile dressings, giving medications and collecting specimens
- Timely response to clients’ calls and system notifications for personal care and emergency, contact 911, guardians, or health authorities, and provide first aid assistance at the earliest possible time.
- Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, feeding and food handling when requested
- Observe clients’ health data such as heart beats and blood pressure, monitor any physical and behavioral changes, and report to the client’s circle of care.
- Coordinate transportation for medical appointments and social or recreational activities

Qualification:
- Completion of secondary education is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in elderly care
- Completion of a training program in care of the elderly, care of persons with disabilities, convalescent care is preferred
- First aid certification is preferred
