Job Duties:
• Managing a team of dispatchers and drivers, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and government regulations related to the transportation and delivery of goods.
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• Overviewing the dispatching of drivers, including assigning routes, vehicles, and shipments.
• Order office supplies and materials.
• Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and issues related to deliveries and shipments.
• Ensuring that drivers adhere to safety regulations and practices, including vehicle maintenance, driver safety, and compliance with transportation laws.
• Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for dispatchers and drivers to improve their skills and knowledge.
