Job description:
• Thoroughly analyze and decipher blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ascertain specifications and compute necessary requirements.
• Create layouts in adherence to building codes, utilizing precision measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and unite materials crafted from wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other relevant substances.
• Construct foundations, position floor beams, install subflooring, and raise walls and roof systems.
• Accurately fit and install various trim elements, including doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
• Undertake the maintenance, repair, and renovation of residential structures and wooden edifices in diverse settings such as mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
• Oversee apprentices and fellow construction workers in their tasks.
• Potentially formulate cost estimates for clients.
