Summary:
Sushi Royal Tokyo is a Japanese-style restaurant located in the heart of Kamloops. We’ve been open since 2015 and are known in the local area for great, quality sushi and Japanese fare, with an impressive all-you-can option. We offer dine-in (a la carte and all-you-can-eat), take-out, and delivery, and to maintain our busy volumes, we are currently seeking Kitchen Helpers to join our kitchen team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Wash, cut, prepare, and measure ingredients;
- Operate deep fryer and simple kitchen equipment;
- Package foods for take-away or delivery;
- Clean work tables, kitchen equipment, and storage area;
- Unpack, sort, and keep fresh produce and dry goods in order;
- Remove trash, sweep, mop, and ensure kitchen is clean and sanitary; and
- Assist Cooks and other kitchen staff as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Some high school education required
- Experience working in kitchen an asset
- Must be able to communicate in English
Compensation:
- $16.75 - $18.00/hour plus gratuities
- Free meal(s) per working shift
