We are looking for a Permanent full-time person available to work as Cook.
Resposibilities:
-Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
-Prepare and cook dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
-Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes using our kitchen utensils and equipment.
-Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Verify orders according to food bills for accuracy prior hand out food to servers
- Inspect food and serving areas to ensure Food Safe Standard
- Practice safe sanitary food-handling
- Portion, arrange, and garnish food as per specs
- Understand and adheres to all quality standards, recipes, formulas and procedure as described.
- Keep track of inventory and records of food, equipment and supply.
- Responsible to Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements:
-The position requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift and the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
-All applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts including weekends.
-Languages: Able to speak, read and write English.
