Archway Construction Ltd. Located at Unit 309A - 8988 Fraserton Court, Burnaby, BC, V5J 5H8, Canada is looking for one Full-Time Customer service supervisor - housing construction. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Job Duties:
• Supervise, direct, organize and evaluate daily operations of construction workers engaged in trades such as roofing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating, painting, siding, landscaping and steel reinforcing for all kinds of new and renovation projects at commercial as well as residential sites.
• Conduct inventory reviews and authorize purchases of building materials and supplies.
• Establish and monitor construction work schedules and align work with subcontractors.
• Resolve work issues with clients and workers in order to enhance productivity & quality.
• Ensure safe working conditions at all times for all workers.
• Train employees for job duties, business policies and procedures and safety instructions.
• Assist management to prepare construction project quotations.
• Prepare reports for project modification if required for city hall alteration.
• Hire & train staff as per business needs.
• Prepare schedules and progress reports.
Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field is required.
Education: High School completion is required
Language: English is required
Number of positions: 1
Wage: $32.25 per hour for 40 hours a week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
