DIY Home Supply is a locally owned one-stop fence, decking, tires & rims supplier. We are serving Regina, Saskatoon, Moosejaw, and surrounding areas.

We are now looking for a motivated and hardworking Administrative Assistant who will support our store's administrative operations. The administrative assistant must have proven experience in administrative assistance or related clerical work and solid communication and interpersonal skills. This position also requires knowledge of general office equipment and computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain processes for administrative operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in orienting newly hired employees and inform relevant rules and regulations.
- Collect mails and reply to emails and/or forward them to the responsible personnel promptly.
- Answer and screen upcoming calls, direct them to relevant personnel, draft and receive letters, and prepare contracts and other documents.
- Schedule and arrange appointments and meetings and organize company activities.
- Generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, and create presentations.
- Make travel arrangements for the director, including researching travel options, purchasing tickets and making reservations.
- Establish and manage physical and electronic filing systems.
- Greet visitors, maintain a clean and tidy office environment, and assist in marketing and purchasing activities.
- Coordinate employee development plans and offer appropriate resources and programs to facilitate employee growth.
- Update content on the company's official website and report technical issues promptly.
- Provide other administrative support to employees as necessary.

Job Requirements:
- A college diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is an advantage.
- At least three (3) years of experience in administrative assistance or related clerical work experience is required.
- Proficient computer skills, advanced level of MS Suite, and be able to learn additional software programs quickly;
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of general office equipment like printers and fax machines
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Good team player and highly detail-oriented.

Terms of Employment
Permanent, full-time, 30 hours per week

Wage
$25 per hour

Benefit
10 days of paid vacation annually
