Job Duties:
Assist senior mechanics and apprentices in repairs, installation, and maintenance of truck and trailer units, forklifts and other warehouse equipment as directed. The job is physically demanding. Move tools, equipment and other materials, perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help senior mechanics, apprentices and other workers as directed. Clean machines and immediate work areas. A combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling will be done throughout the day. Must be able to handle large workload, Work under pressure, Handle heavy loads of up to 50lbs. The ideal candidate shows manual dexterity, initiative, organization, reliability, dependability and flexibility, is a team player and shows efficient interpersonal skills.
