Description: Food service supervisors supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of workers who prepare, portion, and serve food.
Job Location: Vernon, BC
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Position: Permanent - Full Time
Number of Openings: 1
Wage: $22 hourly / 32 to 40 hours per week
Language: English is required.
Job Duties:
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies.
Hire food staff and establish work schedules.
Ensure food service and quality control, address customer’s complaints or concerns.
Prepare, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, wastage and submit reports, supervise, and check delivery of food trolleys.
