Job Description

- Plan, manage and review all the operations of human resources within the organization

- Manage human resource requirements by consulting the other managers within the organization

- Plan training and recruitment activities both internally and externally

- Maintain a smooth onboarding process

- Resolve conflicts through professional mediation

- Ensure all the labour relation law, policies and procedures are followed every time

- Ensure compliance with all the applicable legislation example, the Pay Equity Act are followed every time

- Conduct performance and wage reviews

- Arrange various employee development ang language training programs at regular intervals

- Organize and schedule employee information meetings on topics like employment policy, benefits or compensation

- Maintain employee and workplace privacy

- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Establish and implement policies and procedures
- Train, direct and motivate staff
- Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
- Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
- Manage training and development strategies
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
- Oversee the preparation of reports
- Respond to employee questions and complaints
- Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
- Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
- Oversee payroll administration
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
