Job Overview

• Location: Vancouver, BC V6B 4W4
• Salary: $29 hourly
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours per Week

Job requirements
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Ability to communicate in English
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Work setting: Private Sector, University/College
• Supervision of 1 to 2 people
• Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail

Key responsibilities:
• Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
• Delegate work to office support staff
• Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Carry out administrative activities of establishment
• Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
• Perform data entry
• Train staff
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
