Title of Positions: Painter Helper (NOC 7611)

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wages: $22.00-$24.00 / hour, 40 hours per week
Main Duties will include:
Provide support services to painters and supply or hold tools and materials.
Work site preparation, transporting paints, tools and materials to job site, and setting up of ladders and erect scaffolding, assemble and disassemble temporary equipment or structures.
Remove previously applied paint, and use epoxy compounds, putty or other suitable filling materials to fill breaks or cracks, nail holes and joints found on surfaces to be painted.
Smooth surfaces to be painted, using sanding and buffing tools and equipment.
Clean work areas and equipment.
Help the painters mix paints, using the right proportions and color.
Cover area and surfaces of items that will not be painted using masking tape before the work starts.
Benefit: Relocation expense, medical insurance for the first three months will be covered by employer if required.
