Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people
Job Duties:
Ensure the produce department is properly staffed and trained
Order and manage inventory of fresh produce
Keep shelves and displays organized and fully stocked
Assist with scheduling staff to ensure all shifts are covered;
Supervise staff performance; assign duties; explain responsibilities; and workstations when necessary;
Resolve complaints, handle conflicts, and professionally interact with a variety of stakeholders such as upper management, employees, and customers;
Monitor quality of produce and ensure freshness
Monitor department sales and profits and adjust strategies accordingly
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
