About the Position:

We are currently looking to add a talent to our team! The Station Manager will be responsible for transportation, building and maintaining relationships with transportation and logistics partners to achieve business goals.

Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Defines, proposes and implements specific and objective policies in its area of responsibility, aiming at the permanent improvement of productivity
• Plans, coordinates, and controls the activities developed in its area of responsibility, in accordance with the required standards of excellence.
• Establishes, maintains, and promotes coordination mechanisms with internal and external services
• Ensures the rational management of human, technical and material resources of its area of responsibility.
• Manages the team, acting on their development needs and performance and motivation levels
• Accompanies, and if necessary, replaces the Coordination Supervisor in irregularities in the operation.
• Get up-to-date information on activity progress in the station through the daily reports of the operation, analyzing any irregularities and promoting corrective actions
• Analyzes the productivity and delivery of the handling service, ensuring the maximizing revenues and reducing costs.
• Ensures administrative management, with regard to staff, off expenditure, to working capital, among others
• Ensures compliance with Security and Safety Standards at Station, together with Airport Authority, Assisted Airlines, Security Companies and ANAC.
• Analyzes and controls the SLAs, in order to verify if the level of service agreed between Handling and its customers is being met, reporting any necessary adjustments
• Investigate irregularities arising from complaints, responding to them and reporting those likely to appear to the Coordinator of Handling
• Represents the Company before other companies and official entities

Qualifications:

• Industry work experience: minimum 7 years or more in transportation or related experience;
• Completion of secondary school is required, additional education will be considered an asset;
• Occupation specific work experience: experience in crew management, managing key station, dispatch, passenger services, managing timetables and quality assurance;
• Experience in management of passengers, crew and staff;
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Ability to lead others; ability to coach and mentor others;
• Excellent decision making ability;
• Ability to problem solve and identify possible creative solutions to meet delivery requirements;
• Ability to work in fast paced environment Secondary school, college diploma or related educational credential;
• Certifications in crew or passenger management or aeronautic safety an asset;
• Willing to travel for extended periods;
• Willing to travel overnight;
• Valid driver's licence;
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Travel expenses paid by employer;
• Willing to travel internationally.
