Job duties:
• Responsible for overseeing and managing the policy, procedures, and practices of the bakery, café, catering and retail operations;
• Oversee the development and implementation of marketing and pricing strategy.;
• Act as a central point of contact for clients and addressing important client concerns and requests;
• Meet (by telephone or face-to-face) with clients to continue expanding the breadth and scope of business/contractual relationships;
• Identify new business opportunities;
• Assess and introduce new technologies to improve the efficiency, product quality, and financial expenses of the business operations;
• Connect with managers and clients to conduct quality of service reviews;
• Evaluate and approve changes to supplier/vendors based on present and anticipated client needs;
• Keep operations staffed and managers proactively trained in accordance with company requirements and governmental safety standards.
• Recruit and appoint managers for the operation teams;
• Represent Arto Bakery at industry events, meetings, and negotiations with public and private sector clients;
• Participate in weekly and monthly performance, revenue, and profitability reviews with managers and other staff; and
• Conduct monthly meetings to review team performance and take the hiring and firing decisions.

Wage:
$53.00 per hour

Skills requirements:
• College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
• At least 5 years of work experience in bakery operations/baked goods catering operations is required.
