Job description
Job title: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
Full-time permanent.
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week
Wage: $17.00/hour
Work Location: 27 Airport Heights Dr, St. John's, NL A1A 4W8
Language: English
Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of gross salary
Job responsibility
Manage and oversee the schedule and duties of staff.
Manage and order food ingredients for our inventory.
Plan and implement tasks schedules and daily procedures.
Keep records of inventory, including consumed and wasted.
Ensure the team comply with the food safety policies by training them.
Supervise the quality of serving food.
Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
At least 1 year’ experience as a food service supervisor is required.
Experienced in supervising and coaching staff.
Attention to details, multi-tasking.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Team player who works under pressure and fast-paced environment.
Work language is English, and being fluent in a second language will be an asset.
