Requirements:
• Completion of High School
• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience
• Flexible schedule
• Handling heavy loads and physically demanding
Responsibilities:
• Review blueprints and specifications to plan the required insulation type and amount.
• Measure and cut the insulation to fit into place.
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists.
• Install vapour barriers.
• Apply waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces.
• Remove old insulting materials and dispose of them correctly.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
