(See https://www.cpcranes.com) head office located at #120, 8805 Resources Road, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 3A6 has 2 full time permanent vacancies for a Physical Therapists (PT) at : #106, 10514-67th Ave, Grande Prairie, AB, T8W 0K8 AND #120, 8805 Resources Road, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 3A6.

Physiotherapists assess patients and plan and carry out individually designed treatment plans to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning and mobility, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.

The full time (40 hour per week) & permanent appointed Physical Therapists (PT) will be required to complete the following duties:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat physical symptoms and limited movement caused by injury, aging, disability, or health condition.
• Develop treatment plans to restore movement and function and reduce pain or limitations to mobility.
• Establish patient-centered, functional treatment goals based on physical diagnoses.
• Communicate with physicians and other health-care professionals regarding patients’ problems, needs, and progress.
• Monitor and measure clients’ progress regularly and adjust treatment accordingly.
• Advise clients on how to manage their conditions independently and help them prevent avoidable recurrences or complications.
• Teach clients how to restore, maintain, and maximize movement, reduce pain, and manage chronic symptoms.
• Help clients understand how the condition affects their ability to function.
• Advise clients on ways to prevent potential health problems and promote client fitness, health and wellness.
• Administer and collect outcome measurement information.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Adhere to all Standards of Practice outlined by the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Participation in quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in continuous learning and skills development.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and a positive clinic culture.
• Other duties and responsibilities as mutually agreed upon and/or delegated to
Education Requirements

• Entry level degree in physiotherapy from an accredited physiotherapy program at a recognized university
• Registration with College of Physiotherapists of Alberta is required or eligibility to practice.
• Experience working in a medical clinic or professional office environment would be an asset.

Wage & Benefits

• Salary is based on a $43 per hour plus commission. Commission rate is based on education and years of experience at the discretion of the clinic manager.
• $1500 professional education allowance per year.
• $1000 health care spending account per year.
