Agents Are Us is looking for One (1) Sales General Manager, reporting to the Vice-President, to perform the following duties:
• Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff
• Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
• Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.
• Oversee sales operations in China, USA and Sub-Saharan Africa
Skills Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: No education requirement; A university degree or college diploma in business administration, finance or other discipline related to the service an asset.
• Experience: over 5 years of experience
- Experience working in the industry (which supplies the category) is a plus
- Negotiation skills: Can effectively and assertively explore alternatives and positions to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Innovation: Can identify alternative ways to view or define problems and create alternatives
- Planning and Organizing: Can organize and prioritize work of self and others and leverage resources across functions.
- Facilitates Change: Can provide a vision of end state and encourage others to build in that direction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with aptitude for accuracy and details.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently; demonstrating initiative and creativity when solving problems.
- Flexible with ability to meet deadlines and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Proven experience to lead in the achievement of results.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Strong initiative, assertiveness, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making and presentation skills.
- Good logical, interpersonal, written and oral communication abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Organizational, planning, information gathering and monitoring skills.
- Strong execution ability, with an energetic ‘can-do’ team player attitude, and an ability to drive and manage change is important.
Terms of Employment:
• Salary: $61.54 per hour; 40 hours per week
• Permanent, Full-Time
• Start date: Immediately
