Job Duties:
Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding to ensure proper adhesion of paint and finishes.
Remove old paint, and repair cracks to restore surfaces to a suitable condition for painting.
Read specifications to determine material quantities needed and mix or thin paint to achieve desired color and texture.
Apply paint, wallpaper or other materials using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to enhance interior and exterior surfaces.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and technicians, to facilitate a coordinated and efficient construction or restoration process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and using appropriate protective gear.
Ensure finished work meets quality standards, including proper adhesion, color consistency, and overall appearance.
Requirements
Completion of high school (Preferred).
2 + years of experience as a painter or related field.
Flexible hours, including weekends.
Hand-eye coordination.
Physically demanding.
