Mister Transmission located at 5890 Dix Rd, Unit 1, Mississauga, L4W1E9 seeking two experienced and responsible Transmission Technician or Apprentice with 2-3 year of experience.
These are full time (40 hr week) and permanent positions. This busy shop consists of a small team of dedicated, hardworking individuals who love what they do! We provide advanced technical training to all employees. Great opportunity for the right candidate
Duties
• Removing and Installing transmission for repair/rebuild or replacement
• Experience rebuilding automatic and manual transmissions
• Experience rebuilding differentials and transfer cases
• Inspect and test automotive systems including mechanical and electrical
• Automotive experience mandatory
• Inspection of customer vehicles
• Diagnosis and repair of customer vehicles
• Review work orders and discuss work with Centre Manager
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components to automatic and manual transmissions
• Ensuring the shop is clean and organized at all times
• We provide advanced technical training!
Skills and Experience:
• High energy and motivated individual
• Clean work habits
• Works well in a team
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions is mandatory
• Previous experience with transmissions is mandatory
• Individual who owns tools is considered an asset
• Experience with transmissions rebuilding
Education
• Certificate of Qualification of a Transmission Technician or
• Transmission Technician apprentice with 2-3 years of experience
Wages
• $28.39 – 35 per hour
