Solmaz Solmaz For Retail Ltd. is a family-owned business originally established in 2001. Currently, we supply Halal meat products to stores and supermarkets all over Canada. Therefore, we are now looking for a professional Van driver to join our team to offer reliable services.
Successful candidates must be responsible, reliable and able to work unsupervised.
JOB DUTIES
Loaded and unloaded meat products at distribution centers and customer locations.
Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers on the same day.
Deliver within an optimal period, ensuring the freshness of the meat and respecting customer preferences.
Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log.
Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions.
Navigate local streets and highways with ease using a GPS.
Maintain sanitary and clean service vehicles.
Collected or picked up empty containers and pans for centers daily.
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIREMENTS)
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy food orders and operate a vehicle for prolonged periods.
Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and conflict resolution
1 to 2 years of previous delivery or customer service experience in the food industry is an asset.
