Parsons Rail Transit Infrastructure Group has contributed to major infrastructure planning, design, and construction projects in Ontario, other Canadian provinces, and abroad, since the 1940s.
Our Rail Transit Infrastructure Group specializes in both heavy and light rail, having had and/or currently has major participation at different levels of implementation, in important programs such as the TTC Spadina and Yonge Subway extensions, various projects under the Metrolinx Rail Expansion Program of the GO Transit commuter rail network, the Eglinton Crosstown LRT and Finch West LRT in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as several LRT lines in Ottawa, Alberta and British Columbia.

Our Rail Transit Infrastructure Group is currently going through major growth, and looking to fill Sr. Rail & Transit Engineer. The type of work for which we are seeking highly motivated individuals includes planning and design of heavy and light rail corridors and yards, including track alignment design; special track work design; direct fixation, embedded and ballasted track elements design; preparation of construction and performance track specifications; track inspection and maintenance tasks; and any other track infrastructure associated component.
EXPERIENCE
- Familiarity with design and drafting software ( Civil 3D, OpenRail, AutoCAD, MicroStation),
- P.ENG
- 8 + years of experience working on Track Infrastructure projects
EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Professional Engineer registration is required.
