We are currently looking for a passionate individual to fill the position of "Restaurant Assistant Manager" at our local restaurant.
We are a restaurant located in Scarborough, Ontario that offers authentic Kerala cuisine. Our restaurant provides takeout, catering, as well as dining in services.
We are looking for a unique candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate in English with excellent oral and written communication skills. the candidate must have a minimum of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. We are also looking for a candidate who has minimum of one (1) year to less than two (2) years’ experience in a relevant restaurant field position.
The Candidate will be responsible for analyzing budgets to boost and maintain the restaurants profits and evaluate daily operations. The candidate will modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget and monitor revenues to determine labour costs. You must be able to monitor, supervise, recruit and train staff performance along with planning and organize daily operations. You will be tasked to determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures and also conduct performance reviews. You will cost products and services and organize and maintain inventory. You will have to ensure health and safety regulations are followed and negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies. The candidate will participate in marketing plans and implementation as well as address customers complaints or concerns and provide customer care. The work setting is within an urban area, and the Budgetary responsibility would range from 0 - $100,000.
This is a permanent and full-time position requiring (37.5 hours/week) with an hourly pay of $24.00/hour. We are accepting applications from Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada, and other candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
