Job Responsibilities:
• Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions related to the construction projects, including purchases, expenses, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Processing and recording invoices from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely payments.
• Generating invoices and following up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collection of payments.
• Responsible for regular bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledgers in a timely manner.
• Preparing payroll and tax returns, providing necessary documentation for audits.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecast reports.
• Assisting with general administrative tasks as needed such as address billing inquiries via phone and email.
Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• College diploma or above
• One year or above related work experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, such as QuickBooks Software
• Detail-oriented, accurate, reliable, time management
• Work Location: North River, NS
Term/Schedule:
• Full-time, permanent
• Monday to Friday
• 35 hours per week
