We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our enthusiastic team.
Job Duties:
- Read drawings and sketches to meet the project’s requirements.
- Install, cut, trim, shape, assemble, join wood, wood substitutes, and fabricated replacement trim and moldings.
- Utilize power machines and hand tools to measure and prepare materials.
- Assist with constructing, repairing or renovating wooden concrete forms or different establishments.
- Verify the quality and quantity of materials.
- Perform necessary repairs to fix leaks, damaged shingles, or other issues.
- Construct bases, set floor supports, place the underfloor structure, and assemble walls and roofing systems.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school (preferred)
- 2- 3 years carpenter experience
- Certification in Carpentry is an asset
- Flexible hours including weekends
- Physically demanding
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions (extreme weather)
- Availability to work at heights is an asset
