Job Summary:
We are hiring a highly driven and detail-oriented Client Finance Manager to oversee the financial performance of client engagements and internal operations. This leadership role is central to the agency’s financial integrity and long-term planning, bridging creative operations with fiscal accountability.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to support business-critical decisions through real-time financial analysis, departmental reporting, and performance monitoring. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial background who can identify trends, evaluate risk, and provide insights that guide operational efficiency and profitability.

Duties and responsibilities
• Forecasting, developing, and maintaining revenue forecast systems across multiple variables, departments, and revenue streams using Power Query and Monday.com;
• Tracking and actualizing the status of projects throughout the opportunity lifecycle, including pitch, in-progress, on hold, and completed stages;
• Monitoring and updating salary forecasts based on input from HR and business unit leads;
• Conducting scenario-based financial analysis to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in strategic decision-making;
• Maintaining and updating financial forecasts to support official monthly reports shared with stakeholders;
• Ensuring all revenue recognition is compliant with US GAAP principles and agency accounting policies;
• Analyzing and actualizing revenue performance against forecasts and identifying key variances;
• Preparing and presenting monthly variance analyses to department leads;
• Reconciling deferred revenue at month-end to ensure journal entry accuracy across ERP and financial management systems;
• Preparing monthly reporting packages segmented by department;
• Leading client communications related to upcoming or overdue invoices;
• Tracking payment plans to inform and improve cash flow projections;
• Communicating accounts receivable status to internal department leads;
• Ensuring all client invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with statement of work requirements;
• Maintaining the client PO tracker within accounts payable workflows;
• Reviewing vendor POs to ensure alignment with original budgets and updating ERP systems as needed;
• Developing and updating pricing templates based on account team feedback;
• Reviewing budgets to support profitability and cash-flow neutrality across projects;
• Maintaining expertise in ERP systems and supporting users in day-to-day operations;
• Conducting training sessions for advanced ERP users;
• Assisting in the planning and implementation of new ERP systems;
• Identifying and tracking system shortcomings based on user feedback across departments; and
• Preparing ad hoc financial reports and analyses in response to leadership requests
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in finance, including work with project-based or client financials and revenue recognition
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a business-related discipline is required.
• Proficiency in Deltek WorkBook, Excel with Power Query, and ERP tools such as SAP
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, with the ability to identify and interpret trends
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and other relevant tools
• High attention to detail, with strong critical thinking, adaptability, and time management skills
